It was a beautiful clear morning but cold (just above freezing). I left at 8.45 for more rolling hills through farmland with few views as there were trees on both sides of the road. The wind was NE so it was a side/headwind - I could have used that wind direction the previous day. With the wind coming across the road it was the first day I felt the massive gusts from the trucks.
