In Cannon Beach I visited Mike's bike store to ask about the broken spokes and he convinced me to straighten the rim being 3mm to one side to aviod future problems. Unfortunately he made a potential problem a serious actual problem as the first spoke broke out or the hub a few kilometres after I left town....
