Asphalt turned into a 25k dirt/stone/pebble washingboard road. A few times, I could ride in the side but the bike unavoidably got some serious beating. One pinching can damage the rim, the tires, the spokes or cause flat tires, so it was a small miracle that nothing happened despite many pinches per minute....
