After 30 minutes of riding I got to this lake and after persistently banging the camera hard against my palm it finally got it to focus (same problem as the other camera I send back to Denmark for repair one month earlier); though I had to remove the shutter for the auto-focus to work properly.... DON'T buy this Panasonic Lumix camera....
