The dark clouds looked like a thunderstorm coming in so I rode as fast as possible towards the campground in Madison... however, not very fast - and sometimes not at all - in the fierce headwind of up to 60-80 k/h (35-50 mph).... I got there just as it startet raining but it didn't last long and some hours later the clouds were gone and the sun came out again...  Fot he first time on this trip I paid for accommodation though reasonable US 6.50 - especially considering I was offered the delicious and abundant leftovers from the locals' 4 July BBQ.... and great fisnish on an otherwise so-so day...
