Because of heavy rains the campgound had a lot of roof structures to pitch the tent under. However, unless I have to I don't like sleeping close to so many other people, so I pitched my tent amongst some banana trees. Rained it did - most often torrential - but as expected my tent stood the test; some water came in but only because I didn't pay attention when a bag made the inner tent touch the outer cover....
