On a road trip around northern thailand heavy rains forced us to stay overnight in a small village. They had obviously never seen white people before - waking up 5am they were sitting in the door opening watching us sleep in mosquito nets - and they were still there when getting up at 8am. I felt a little like an animal in a zoo.
