One of my main reasons for doing this long ride through Canada was to see wildlife and before entering highway 37 I had been very optimistic based on people's stories especially about seeing a lot of black bears e.g. 9 and 14 at the same time. So it was a relief not to be the first person ever to have biked the road without seeing a single bear....
