Nevertheless, the rain that had already fallen became a challenge. When looking for camping, we went into a field that wasn't muddy, but the soil was wet and heavy and immediately got stuck under the mudguards and shoes - a bad move since the field was too open and therefore not good for camping. After long discussions, we ended up camping just outside the field - obvious if somebody came by, but we assumed nobody would with this weather at this late hour. It took a while to clean the bikes and shoes for mud so it was dark when we ate and went to bed... | |||||
