Late afternoon, we went off the main road and towards Lake Angitola as the map showed forest areas. We found a trail that could work for camping but for once we were early - these are best just before dark. So we looked around but only found steep overgrown slopes so we ended up at the initial place 45 minutes later. Suddenly a lot of traffic and a police road block only 30m away. They shot 100-150 rounds into the forest just next to us scaring the shit out of Sonia - she wanted to tell them we were there but I talked her out of it as we camped illegally. An hour later they towed two cars, so it turned out just to be an accident.... crazy experience...
