I considered doing a detour up Stelvio Pass, but I was concerned about the snow. The pass at 2,757m was open from this side to Bormio, but I also needed an open secondary road into Switzerland which I doubted. There was nobody to ask, so I continued 10k further up the road to Glorenza, where I headed west towards Switzerland...
