20k later the headwind increased to 35-40 k/h making it hard work with the constant rolling hills - and freezing cold even though the temperature had increased to +5C. I didn't think I could make it to the Greek border, but 10 flat kilometres got my speed up. With no people, it was a very fast border crossing on both sides. My map showed no small countryroads,so I took the highway 10k and got off at the Feres exit....
