In the morning, I changed wheel tape and tube to avoid more flats. I rode out at 10 to realise that I would never have reached the desert before dark as it was another 15k. Yet another police check point - it took 20 minutes because everybody (8 people) wanted to see my passport stamps. This childish approach annoys me but sometimes I just have to play along...
