It is mandatory to take a taxi to the border, so the monopoly price is steep USD 60 (3 times normal rate). With the bike and all my luggage, there was no room to share but I honestly didn't care. I just wanted to leave China. Approaching border closing time, the taxi guy kept putting things in randomly so of course there was no room and i had to take things out and do it properly. Friendly face but an unpleasant greedy personality asking for money every 5 minutes....
