I anticipated being in Yitunbulake early afternoon but it took 2½ hours instead of one. The 40-50 k/h northern already arrived at 12 which was no fun riding into on the 10k uphill to town. It was only 88k and mid afternoon, but I wanted to stay as it meant carrying less water for the next leg. A nice policeman helped find a place but no electricity (blackout in town) or water (strange?) so I declined having better facilities in my tent. He then decided to become my personal shopper for 45 minutes - against my principles I had to buy water but what can you do?
