Late afternoon after 155k I came to another village not on my map. With the tailwind, I considered riding another 30k to the next village, but decided against it as I only had 70k to Jiayuguan the next day. I asked around for a while a finally found a nice place. Again registration was a challenge and a test of a westerner's patience. I waited 45 minutes for two police officers to show up spending an hour on registration and another half hour going to the station to scan my passport and return it.
