Another terrible place I have visited is the S-21 prison in Phomh Penh, Cambonia, where thousands of people were executed during Pol Pots terror regime 1975-79. It is estimated that 1.4-2.2 million people died during this period (more than 20,000 mass graves have been located) - half executed and the other half from diseases and starvation.
